Since I have received Resellers Agreement signed by Space Imaging, in 1998, my real worries concentrated on the way, I will be marketing Very High Resolution imagery in Poland.
After cancelling my work for the City of Gdansk (it bored me finally to be there for 5 years) I used to work temporarily at the Foundation of Regional Development, which had Branch, established by us, called Baltic Centre of GIS. This was my idea grewing for a certain time, when we met with Craig Molander (from Autometrics), Jack Dangermond (ESRI) and ERDAS people from Atlanta.
It couldn't materialize from several years to to obstacles we had. Even, when I had all support and gathered initial potential of more than 1 million US $, the personal situation I have been in Gdansk requested from me to devote some of these assets for organization of VASAB 2010 Secretariat in Gdansk in 1995 and 1996.
So it drifted as Branch of the Foundation, until we have met with two other shareholders, Teresa Kwiatkowska and Andrzej Polak, and finally we have registered BALTIC CENTRE og GEOPRGAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS, in Gdansk, with its seat in Sopot, in May of 1999 year. It started from the scratch.
