Monitoring of land-use changes - is importanf not only in very dense urban areas, but also in peri-urban zones and rural environment of bogger cities. A cloud computing based solution have been applied to the small rural municipality of Zakrzówek in Lublin Region Poland, based on ERDAS 2011 and ISDP (ISPIK) software environment.

Interesting aspect of this soluton is - that is is much cheaper than other solutions, based on traditional
(buy software, buy hardware, do it alone) approach.
Detection change was applied to detect changes in Land-Use between 2003 and 2009 orthophotos, with 50 and 25 cm resolution.
1228 changes in Land Use were identified in this period in the borders of this small municipality (ca 7000 inhabitants)
